Thinking about all the people interested in the saffron world, and everyone who might be curious to find out every aspect life has to offer, we have created a space of rest in the countryside full of scents of saffron, rosemary and thyme. We invite those people to enjoy tranquillity and comfort, to make an immersion that allows you not only to see, but also to hear, touch and smell the aroma and richness of saffron, to get to know everything that’s hidden in its cultivation, as well as its harvesting, peeling and toasting.




The ground floor has a wide and comfortable toilet, and a broad receiving hall.
On the first and second floor lies the guests’ resting area and the hosts’ private area, as signaled in the living area floor plan, which is composed of the following spaces:

1. LOFT. A broad 24.1 square-meter (259 sq ft) living-bedroom with two balconies to the outside of the house, with wooden floor and ceiling; it has a fireplace and a lounge area with sofa and two rocking chairs, a 140x190 cm double bed and two bedside tables with their lamps and cabinet.
Single 11.7 square-meter (126 sq ft) room annex to the living-bedroom. It is equipped for our guests’ children and has a built-in wardrobe, two 90x190 cm beds, bedside table, cradle, a small drawing desk and a library with children’s books and drawing materials: crayons, colour pencils and painting paper
2. Double bedroom with an area of 14.1 (151 sq ft) square meters with a 135x190cm double bed, two bedside tables, window to the inner terrace, built-in wardrobe, very broad and cosy.
3. Stand-alone semi-double room on the second floor, with 13.5 square meters (145 sq ft) and a 20 square-metre (215 sq ft) terrace from which to observe the whole castle wall and enjoy the views of the town. This room is also where the washing and drying machines are located. It is a comfortable room, suitable for students, couples or young people who are interested in knowing the area and go for one of the many plans available, such as hiking, bike touring, sport climbing, mountain climbing, etc.
COMMON AREAS
These include the whole house with the exceptions of the hosts’ and guests’ rooms:

Broad dinning room with large windows, and a very nice and familiar eight-seat eating area with a window to the street.

Living room with a large 4-seat sofa and an armchair with a large window with views to the terrace, TV and fireplace.

Kitchen with a large pantry and a lot of sunlight thanks to the great picture window with a terrace view, ceramic hob, refrigerator, toasting oven, kettle, blender, oven, and the entire necessary cooking kits.

36 square meter interior terrace with a large almond tree that gives us proper shading in summer, and a barbecue with firewood storage.

At the first floor’s 11.3 square meters (121 sq ft) landing there is a large bookshelf that our guests can examine and enjoy a good read from the books we have.

A common 4.35 (46 sq ft) square-metre bathroom with a large shower tray, sink, bidet and warm water for the guests from our previously mentioned spaces.
Also, you will be able to know all the cultural, natural and gastronomic riches in our town, Peñas de San Pedro, and the surrounding towns and villages, which are really at a stone’s throw: Alcaraz, Ossa de Montiel, Ayna, Lezuza and Albacete city. These are ideal places to taste the great gastronomy of the area. In the case of Peñas de San Pedro, you will also be able to visit its widely recognized local factories of traditional sausages and cold meats.
House characteristics
The house is broad and sunny; it was restored keeping its one metre master walls that allow for the space to stay isolated from the outside, both in winter and in summer. It is a 3-storey house with large windows that let in the sunshine and give a warm and cosy atmosphere. A large part of the house is fitted with wooden floorboards, and red clay tiles were installed in the stairs’ surface.
Our guests are provided with Wi-Fi and TV. The large windows allow you to enjoy the garden and the barbecue outside. You can also relax in the ample living room and have a rest in our comfortable sofa and armchair.
The whole house disposes of central heating, warm water and two fireplaces, one of them in the dinning room and the other in the large bedroom’s lounge area. We usually keep both of them lit with almond tree wood during the winter.
The kitchen is open-plan with a wide worktop, and has all one might need: dishwasher, oven, kettle, blender, vitro electric stove, refrigerator, freezer and a large pantry with preserves, jams and pickles.

GUEST SERVICES
The hosts will directly attend our customers, showing them to their rooms and giving a small introduction to the services in the house and the common areas.
The guests may choose one of the following options:

PRICES
Loft: 80€ per night (2 adults, 2 children and a baby). Includes breakfast.
Double bedroom: 60€ per night (2 adults, additional baby). Includes breakfast.
Second floor accommodation for couple or college students: 4€ per night. Includes breakfast.
NotE: Guests will be sent via message their choices of available menus and prices after they choose if they would like half or full board.
Daily cleaning tariff 8€ per day.
Service tariff 8€ per day (breakfast and welcoming services).

The weekends in the days of the Feria de Albacete (September 7th to 17th), reservations will have to be for a minimum of 2 nights.

CANCELATIONS
Cancelations must be confirmed 48 hours in advance. If they are confirmed within 24 hours, the sum of the first night accommodation will not be refunded. Only when the payment has been made in cash before lodging, will the service fee be refunded.
